Betty Duffield, Broker-in-Charge at Carolina
Real Estate in Seneca, is excited about what's been going
on in a subdivision just outside of Westminster on Lake Hartwell.
"It's amazing," she enthuses. "Foxwood Hills
has really done some remarkable things." With a wide
variety of amenities in place and convenient location, the
tennis and swim community has seen growth both aesthetically
and in its number of residential homes. |
Duffield attributes
at least one builder with credit for some of its growth: Building Systems Network, LLC. She is delighted that Carolina Real Estate agents
Lisa Ancona and Dennis Dale have been chosen to represent
Building Systems Network in the upstate.
Led by Grant Smereczynsky, Building Systems Network began introducing
its homes to the upstate of South Carolina in the fall of
2000. Based in Cumming, Georgia, the company is known for
its quality design offered at value pricing to their customers.
Using an innovative building process that combines the use
of highly engineered building components and modern technology,
Building Systems Network is one of the first builders in the area to introduce
this attractive alternative building method. "Our building
process gives homebuyers an affortable alternative while getting
a quality built and carefully constructed home," says
Smereczynsky. And with many custom home builders in the area
maxed to their capabilities, Building Systems Network offers a combination
of reduced building time and efficient construction.
Building Systems Network, a member of the National Association of Home
Builders, offers a wide variety of floor plans ranging from
1,000 to 4,000 square foot range. And with today's modern
technology, Building Systems Network can take a standard floor plan and,
using computerization, make mass customization changes to
meet homeowners' particular needs. The options are endless:
customized baths, kitchens, and master bedroom areas can be
reconfigured to suit the owners' particular tastes. Building Systems Networks'
suppliers include nationally recognized manufacturers such
as Genesis Homes, All-American Homes, and HCH HandCrafted
Homes.
Called the "Wave of the Future" by
Professional Builder Magazine, the innovative building process
Building Systems Network utilizes is called "building systems":
highly engineered building components are assembled in a controlled
environment at a manufacturing plant. The process begins at
the design phase, with state-of-the-art technology utilized
in customizing floor plans and producing drawings. Components
are constructed at the plant under carefully controlled and
supervised conditions and delivered to the building site.
Because there are no instances of subcontractor no-shows,
weather delays, or missing materials, work is never delayed.
Consumers can expect to move into their homes in as little
as 90 days after signing their contract. The homes are subject
to the same building code requirements as custom homes and
the style of homes range from ranch to contemporary to Victorian-era
homes. Designers and craftsmen of building systems homes work
hard to implement quality and aesthetically pleasing details
so that the homes look no different than "on-site"
stick homes. And Building Systems Network are backed by 2-10 Home Buyers
Warranty, a corporation that provides warranty protection
for the home and requires that builders meet certain standards
to be accepted into their program. "These homes are built
for each individual's lifestyle and are built to last a lifetime,"
says Smereczynsky. Building Systems Network also offers office, senior, &
multifamily construction.
Building Systems Network plans to continue to build in Foxwood
Hills, where a model home is currently being built to showcase
the building systems construction to consumers. The subdivision,
ideal for both families and retirees, features a 9-hole golf
course with pro-shop, lounge and restaurant, tennis courts,
swimming pool, and exercise and game rooms. Smereczynsky is
working with area REALTORS to identify additional homesites
and lake lots and is enthusiastic about the response to the
introduction of the product in the area. "This really
gives homebuyers an affortable alternative while getting a
quality built and carefully constructed home," he says.
Great quality, affordable pricing. How can you beat that?
